Papp Trading Company Kft. operates as a professional intermediary in the used-vehicle market. The conditions under which refunds, cancellations and rectifications are possible depend on the type of service involved and the stage at which the request is made. This policy explains those conditions clearly.
Brokerage and consultancy service fees become non-refundable once we have begun work on your file (for example: contacting sellers, preparing an inspection, placing a bid, or issuing transport instructions). If you cancel before any such work has started, the fee is fully refundable less a small administrative cost of EUR 50.
Auction purchases are governed by the rules of the auction house and are typically final once the hammer falls. Auctions do not, as a rule, allow returns or refunds. Once a bid placed on your behalf within your authorised parameters is successful, the purchase cannot be cancelled.
For purchases negotiated directly with a dealer or private seller, the right of return depends on the contract signed with that seller. We facilitate any return permitted by the seller, but cannot guarantee one where the seller does not offer it. Where the vehicle is delivered substantially different from the agreed specification, we will assist you in exercising your rights against the seller.
Inspection reports are paid services. Once an inspection has been completed and the report delivered, the fee is non-refundable regardless of whether you proceed with the purchase.
Transport bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a fee of up to 50% of the transport quote, as the carrier slot is already reserved. Once the vehicle has been loaded, the transport fee is non-refundable.
Vehicles are inspected at pickup and delivery. Any damage must be noted on the delivery document at the moment of handover and reported to us in writing within 24 hours, with photographs. We will then handle the claim with the transport insurance on your behalf.
All requests must be made in writing to info@papptrading.autos within 14 days of the event giving rise to the claim. Please include your order reference, a clear description of the issue, and supporting documents or photos where applicable. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights that you may have as a buyer under Hungarian or EU consumer law. As our services are aimed at business clients, statutory consumer-protection rights typically do not apply.
