These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Papp Trading Company Kft. By submitting a quote request, placing an order, or entering into any agreement with us, you accept these terms. They are intended for business clients (dealers, fleet operators, leasing companies, and other professional buyers).
We provide professional brokerage services for used vehicles in the European Union, including: searching auctions and dealer networks in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and other EU markets; pre-purchase inspections and condition reports; bidding and purchase on your behalf; cross-border transport; customs and registration documentation; and ongoing B2B advisory.
Our quotations are non-binding indications of price based on current market conditions and are valid for a limited period stated on the offer (typically 7 days). A binding contract exists only once both parties have signed a written purchase or service agreement, or once we have received your written confirmation of a specific vehicle proposal.
All prices are stated in Euro (EUR) unless agreed otherwise, exclusive of VAT where applicable. Service fees, transport, inspection, registration and customs charges are quoted separately. Payment is by bank transfer; the standard term is full settlement before delivery, unless individually negotiated. Late payments accrue interest at the Hungarian statutory rate.
Inspection reports we provide are independent assessments based on visual examination, on-board diagnostic data and where possible test drives. They are professional opinions, not legal warranties. We do our best to identify defects but cannot guarantee against latent faults that were not detectable at the time of inspection.
When we bid at an auction or negotiate with a seller on your behalf, we act within the parameters you have authorised in writing (maximum bid, vehicle specifications, deadlines). Once a bid is won or a deal is concluded within these parameters, you are bound to complete the purchase.
Title in the vehicle passes to you once full payment has been received by us and by the original seller. Risk of loss or damage passes when the vehicle is collected by the transporter, and we strongly recommend that you maintain or rely on transport insurance for the full transit.
To the maximum extent permitted by Hungarian law, our total liability for any single transaction is limited to the amount of the service fee paid to us for that transaction. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, downstream resale losses, or consequential damages.
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, port closures, customs delays, weather, war, sanctions, or seller default.
These terms are governed by Hungarian law. Any dispute shall be settled exclusively by the competent Hungarian courts having jurisdiction over the city of Budapest, unless mandatory EU rules require otherwise.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version applicable to your transaction is the one in force at the date of your written order confirmation.
